Prof. Shalom Chinedu is the current Chairman of Covenant Health Research Ethics Committee (CHREC) at Covenant University. He is a Professor of Biochemistry in the College of Science and Technology, Covenant University. His area of specialization is Enzymology and Molecular Genetics. He is also interested in bioethics and pubic health issues, especially, non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and neglected tropical diseases affecting Africans.

Professor Olayemi Akinnola

Prof. Olayemi Akinnola is the Secretary of the Covenant Health Research Ethics Committee (CHREC). She is a Professor of Microbiology. She has a BSc in Microbiology, an MSc in Pharmaceutical microbiology and a PhD in Microbiology. Her research area is infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance and the role of the human microbiome in health and disease.
